Beyond pay-per-lesson, you can bill with prepaid packages or monthly plans and, once a student saves a card, charge it under the rules you set.
A fixed price for a set number of lessons, for example $240 for 8, set in Settings or as a custom rate for one student. Each completed lesson counts down the student's balance, on their Billing tab and in their portal.
Once it's spent, each booked lesson in their portal reads “Not covered yet”.
When a package reaches its last lesson, your student sees a renewal prompt. The button carries the price (“Renew for” and the amount), then changes to “Confirm — charge” with “Cancel” beside it. They're charged exactly the price shown; if your price changed in the meantime, the charge doesn't go through.
Renewing from the portal only appears once the student has a saved card.
A flat price per month, so there's no lessons-left count. A monthly student gets an invoice on their billing date for that month's lessons in their recurring slot, minus anything paid ahead. Their Payments page shows the next bill in advance.
Saving a card authorizes charges for completed lessons and for late cancellations or no-shows billed under your policy, and nothing else.
A “Pending auto-charges” block on the student's Billing tab holds each charge for 2 hours, with the amount and what it's for. “Waive” on the row cancels it during that window; the student is never notified, and nothing is charged.
Appears only while a charge is scheduled.
A declined charge is retried after 24 hours, then 72 hours; after that you're asked to follow up.
